Cosplay Dance Battle is a dance jam inspired event with a cosplay twist
To Enter:

In previous events, we've allowed non-cosplays to enter. Moving forward we will be requiring contestants to be in cosplay when entering. This includes; Full cosplay, casual cosplay, closet cosplay, cosplay bought online, homemade cosplay, and cosplay bought at stores like PartyCity etc.
During the battle:

No inappropriate touching of other contestants

No smack talk
-
Wait your turn. No interrupting another contestant's turn

After the battle:
The grand prize winner is not allowed to enter twice in a row but will be offered a position as judge in the next event.

Note: Please wear cloths that are comfortable and wont show too much while dancing. We host our events at family oriented venues and don't want any mishaps

Starts with the preliminaries. Where 2 randomly selected contestants battle with just one round to impress the judges to move on. Time is limited to about 30 seconds per round. After all contestants have had their round, the judges will deliberate on who moves to the next round.
Next the brackets begin with the judges' chosen top dancers. The contestants will battle for 2 rounds. After 2 rounds, each judge will point the contestant they were impressed by the most. Contestant with the most judges in their favor will move on to the next round.
For the finals, the contestants will have 3 rounds to impress the judges for the grand prize!
A king of the hill style tournament with 8 contestants.
Where the battle starts with 2 randomly selected contestants. The rest waits in line for their turn to battle. Each contestant has one round to impress the judges. After both contestants have had their turn, the judges point to the contestant that won their favor.
The contestant that wins that round stays in the arena to battle the next in line. The looser still has a chance to come back, but has to wait their turn from the back of the line. The first contestant to gain 7 wins gets the grand prize.
